Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking TeleSANE remote Forensic Examiners. Candidates must reside in NE or IA and have 2-3 years nursing SANE/forensic experience. This role supports patients affected by sexual assault, human trafficking, and domestic violence across campuses and via Telehealth.

Shifts include nights, weekends, holidays, with up to 7, 12-hour shifts per month. Educational support and career advancement are offered as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical field
• 1 year of clinical nursing/forensic experience
• Effective communication skills
• Teamwork and flexibility
• Current RN/NP/CNM/PA license in Nebraska
• BLS certification from AHA (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later)
• Complete initial IAFN Online SANE Training within 12 weeks of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide, prescribe, delegate, coordinate nursing care for designated patients
• Respond to sexual assault, human trafficking, and domestic violence cases
• Support TeleSANE program across multiple campuses and sites
