Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a remote Forensic Coder to join our nationwide team. This role requires 4+ years of physician coding experience across front and back end coding with CPC or CCS certification; EPIC knowledge is a plus.

You will perform root cause analyses and lead coding improvement projects while educating providers and staff on coding and compliance. This full-time remote position may involve onsite travel for education sessions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of physician coding experience.
• Expert knowledge in front and back end coding with multiple specialties.
• CPC or CCS certification (AAPC/AHIMA).
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; EPIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete root cause analysis of identified coding opportunities.
• Provide education and guidance on coding and compliance to staff and providers.
• Lead or assist with coding improvement projects as needed.
• Research and support coding for new client service lines and offerings.
• Mentor team members on coding guidelines and accuracy.
