YA Group is seeking engineers, architects, and construction professionals to serve clients in forensic consulting, focusing on construction defect investigations and litigation support. Roles span various levels and emphasize independent work and collaboration with insurers, defense, and plaintiff attorneys.

Qualifications

• Licensed engineer or architect preferred (PE/EIT/AIA licensure).
• Background as a forensic engineer or architect with construction focus preferred.
• Experience with construction defect claims and litigation processes preferred.
• Ability to travel with reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Conduct investigations and analysis of structures with emphasis on construction defects.
• Prepare detailed and accurate reports on findings.
• Provide expert testimony and support during litigation.
• Develop and maintain client relationships within the CD service line.
• Attend and coordinate meetings with clients.
• Attend on-site inspections and document field conditions.
• Identify root causes and extent of damage by evaluating data and material properties.
• Ensure job files and deliverables are well-organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
