Job summary

YA Group is seeking a Senior Forensic Consultant - Premises Liability to conduct forensic investigations and provide expert analysis for premises liability matters. This remote role requires up to 50% travel across major US markets and offers growth within a global forensic practice.

You will engage with attorneys, insurers, and clients to communicate findings and support litigation and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (engineering or safety) required.
• 4+ years in premises liability investigations and forensic consulting.
• Experience evaluating building codes, regulations, standards, and safety practices.
• Experience conducting slip, trip, and fall investigations and developing causal opinions.
• Experience with walkway friction testing and slip resistance evaluations.
• Strong client communication and deposition experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic investigations of premises liability claims.
• Evaluate site conditions and causal factors.
• Perform site inspections and evidence collection.
• Analyze slip, trip and fall incidents and provide technical opinions.
• Conduct walkway friction testing and slip resistance evaluations.
• Prepare technical reports and expert materials.
• Provide deposition and trial testimony as an expert witness.
• Support business development and client relationships.
