Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an associate/mid-level Project Engineer for a remote-based role with up to ~30% regional travel. You will support lead experts in forensic engineering activities, including field investigations, engineering calculations, design and document review, and evaluation of construction drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Demonstrated design experience within Civil or Structural disciplines.
• Experience serving as Engineer of Record on contract documents, plans, or specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within-state, with potential for regional travel.
• Prior forensic engineering experience, particularly involving property loss or similar evaluations.
• Interest in transitioning from a design-focused career into forensic engineering.
• Fundamental knowledge of engineering analysis and building code requirements.
• A collaborative, team-oriented working style.
