The role involves handling pleadings and memoranda, managing a heavy caseload, and coordinating with the New York headquarters via electronic means.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to the Florida Bar.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Must possess superior organizational & time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management and employees at all levels.
• Strong legal research skills -- LexisNexis proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of Florida clients.
• Communicating with clients regarding their matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Legal research related to contract law and other areas of consumer law.
• While this role is based from home, you may be required to travel for in court appearances.
