The ideal candidate must be admitted to the Florida Bar, have at least 1 year of law-firm experience, and possess strong organizational, research, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to the Florida Bar and eligible to practice in Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication and professional integrity.
• Strong legal research skills; LexisNexis proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a heavy and diversified caseload in Florida.
• Communicating with clients regarding matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; reviewing and drafting agreements.
• Liaising with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Conducting legal research on contract and consumer law issues.
• Travel for in-court appearances may be required.
