Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Flight Operations Officer to join our client’s remote team. You will oversee flight planning, scheduling, and regulatory compliance, driving efficient, safe operations across a diverse fleet from a fully remote setting.

The role emphasizes strong analytical abilities, effective communication, and experience with flight planning tools to ensure on-time operations and adherence to aviation requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Aviation Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in flight operations or airline operations control.
• Proficiency with flight planning software and airline operational control systems.
• Solid understanding of aviation regulations, meteorology, and air navigation principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience working in a remote team setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize flight plans considering weather, air traffic, aircraft performance, and regulatory constraints.
• Manage aircraft and crew scheduling, ensuring compliance with duty time limitations and operational requirements.
• Monitor flight progress, anticipate potential disruptions, and implement contingency plans as needed.
• Liaise with pilots, maintenance, ground operations, and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational records and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant aviation regulations and company policies.
