Job summary

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a Flight Applications Systems Analyst for a fully remote position within the Information Technology department. You will support and enhance core flight systems such as Talon ETA/RMS and SplashBI, develop reports, write SQL queries, validate data, and troubleshoot complex issues.

Collaboration with academic and administrative units is essential to gather requirements and deliver sustainable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 3–5 years of IT experience.
• Familiarity with SDLC principles and tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and communicate technical information clearly.
• Ability to read code and work with SQL and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support for flight systems and related applications.
• Develop and maintain operational and analytical reports.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries; validate data.
• Investigate and resolve complex system issues; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Gather requirements and translate them into reports and system enhancements.
• Assist with system integrations and onboarding of new data sources.
