Job summary

Verse is seeking a Fleet Operations Specialist to monitor and support a growing fleet of battery energy storage systems. You will be the first line of defense, handling real-time health, site onboarding, and incident triage within US-friendly hours.

This role offers growth into automation, observability tooling, and AI-assisted workflows as the fleet expands. As the initial hire in this function, you will collaborate with engineering, data science, product, and BizOps teams, learning each site

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in technical support, NOC, field service, or IT operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; you are the voice during incidents.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and diagnostics.
• Ability to read logs and telemetry to form hypotheses.
• Organized with a process mindset and willingness to document tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time health and telemetry acrossVerse’s battery fleet.
• Onboard new sites to the platform and validate configurations.
• Triage Sev1–4 issues within defined SLAs and provide hourly incident updates.
• Remote into site controllers and follow a structured troubleshooting playbook.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and build a knowledge base for future automation.
