Job summary

FMX, a cloud-based SaaS facility management company based in Columbus, OH, seeks a Solutions Engineer. You will support Account Executives and Account Managers with technical demos, problem-spotting, and solution scoping to drive revenue during the sales process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Solutions Engineer or in a similar role
• Knowledge of or direct experience in software development
• Practical experience with building or industrial automation systems
• Proven ability to integrate various software packages effectively
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and apply them to business challenges
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong task management

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products to customers and prospects
• Support sales teams with technical demos involving unique workflows or integrations
• Partner with sales to plan and execute enterprise presentations
• Participate in on-site demonstrations for enterprise accounts (10-20% travel)
• Communicate client needs to product teams for future enhancements
• Organize themes and trends from prospects and relay to executives and product teams
