Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking a Senior Project Management Consultant to lead city capital and program-management engagements end to end, from mobilization and work planning through delivery, quality control, and executive-ready closeout. This role is remote-first with occasional client travel and the ability to coordinate diverse teams across public agencies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on project or program management for city, county, or other public-agency capital programs.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, milestones, budgets, risks, and client deliverables end to end.
• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal capital and program-management engagements across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality
• Translate city priorities into practical work plans, governance routines, decision logs, and deliverables
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultants, client departments, and community or stakeholder inputs
• Prepare status reporting, issue resolution, and executive briefings for public-agency leadership
• Contribute municipal project-management qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned
