Job summary

AlphaGov, a public-sector consulting practice, seeks a Management Consultant to lead strategy, organizational assessment, and program-management engagements for state and local agencies. Engagements are remote-first with travel as needed, and work is project-based as a 1099 collaborator.

Responsibilities include shaping recommendations, designing improvement roadmaps, and delivering client-ready reports to executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in management consulting, organizational assessment, or program management.
• Proven ability to lead structured discovery, analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and recommendation development.
• Ability to produce clear client-ready reports, presentations, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• State, local, education, utility, or other public-sector consulting experience preferred.
• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator.

AlphaGov (Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov) delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.

We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. We build ready teams for live pursuits.
