Jobgether, acting for a partner company, seeks a Senior Accountant (US GAAP) to support U.S.-based CPA practices in a fully remote, home-office setup. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and effective communication with U.S.-based clients.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and professional designations (CPA/CA/ACCA/SAICA) preferred. AI-enabled workflows are encouraged to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional accounting experience, including 2+ years in a U.S. CPA firm or practice.
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of U.S. GAAP and its application in professional environments.
• CPA/CA/ACCA/SAICA or equivalent designation preferred.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close and financial reporting.
• Proficient in English communication with U.S.-based clients.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle accounting: maintain GL, ledger accuracy, and day-to-day operations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, trial balance).
• Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Support compliance, client inquiries, and tax filings across entities.
• Leverage AI tools to improve workflows and accuracy.
