Job summary

Netlify is seeking a data-driven analytics leader to own our PLG performance across activation, engagement, conversion, monetization, and retention. You will partner with Product and Engineering to turn insights into product bets, defining what to test, how to measure it, and what the results mean.

You will lead experimentation from hypothesis through decision, including study design, methodology, success metrics, guardrails, analysis, and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytical understanding of PLG performance across activation, engagement, conversion, monetization, and retention.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to turn insights into product bets and define what to test and how to measure it.
• Lead experimentation from hypothesis to decision, including study design, metrics, guardrails, analysis, and recommendations.
• Apply statistical rigor and help teams judge when signal is strong enough to act.
• Build scalable analytics systems like semantic models, metrics, monitoring, and AI-powered agents.
• Use AI to accelerate analysis, automate recurring work, and test more hypotheses without sacrificing judgment.
• Identify gaps in measurement and instrumentation, collaborating with Data and Product Engineering to close them.
• Serve as a trusted analytical partner to PLG leadership to influence investment decisions and roadmap priorities.
• Influence product strategy with evidence and clear point of view, thriving without formal authority.
