ZBeta, Inc. is seeking a Security System Designer I to join our remote-first team in the United States. You will support engineers and system designers, learning all aspects of physical security design while contributing to quality control and drafting tasks.

You should have 1+ years of Revit experience, a compatible education, and strong communication skills. The role offers competitive salary, excellent benefits, and a flexible schedule in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Revit experience in a professional environment.
• Experience in security, electrical, or telecom fields preferred.
• Associate degree or Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Electrical Design, or relevant work experience.
• Vendor knowledge of Lenel, Software House CCure 9000, DMP, Milestone is a plus.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and work quality.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate client project drawings for accuracy and QC checklist adherence.
• Incorporate feedback from the Engineer, System Designer II, and System Designer III for continuous improvement of drawing sets.
• Learn and develop a working knowledge of drafting/modeling security floor layouts for access control, video, and other security systems.
• Produce and assemble system drawings under supervision; maintain project files and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers from design to closeout.
