Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited, an established multidisciplinary engineering firm, seeks a senior technical leader to oversee security system design from concept through delivery in Georgia. You will mentor junior engineers and act as a key client-facing representative on complex projects.

The role offers senior ownership, direct client exposure, and a hybrid work environment within a stable, low-turnover organization.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' industry experience, including a minimum of 3 years designing security systems
• Proficiency in Revit (families, views, sheets, riser/functional diagrams) and Bluebeam
• Strong understanding of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection and security communications architectures
• Bachelor's degree preferred; PSP or CPP a plus
• Network design and risk/vulnerability assessment experience advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities

• Design access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection and security communications systems
• Consult with clients on perimeter security strategy, monitoring and system selection
• Coordinate with door hardware consultants and other in-house/external disciplines
• Manage the full project production process, including submittal review, RFI response and contractor coordination
• Mentor and oversee the work of junior engineers and co-ops
