Vironix Health, a fast-moving Austin-based health tech company, seeks a Recruiting / People Operations Manager to own end-to-end recruiting for a 60+ contractor workforce and to scale HR operations.

This remote-first role reports to the CEO/SVP of Operations and involves improving recruiting processes, onboarding, payroll, and HR tooling while maintaining compliance and leadership visibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience.
• Startup hiring pace experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and resilience under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle recruiting for Medical Assistant contractor roles across states.
• Own onboarding: Security/2FA, certifications, HIPAA training, platform setup.
• Coordinate and schedule first 1–2 weeks of training and track 30-day success.
• Collaborate with the SVP Operations to monitor MA staff productivity.
• Maintain onboarding materials, FAQs, and candidate resources.
• Coordinate payroll processes and ensure timely contractor payments.
• Field HR questions from contractors and employees; escalate as needed.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and timelines.
• Maintain recruiting/HR tech stack (Workable, onboarding automation).
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows as the team scales.
• Keep docs, trackers, dashboards current for leadership visibility.
