Job summary

Bankjoy is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to drive world-class quality in our software platform. You will automate tests for regression and new features, develop and maintain test cases, and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes manual testing in a SaaS environment across web and mobile apps, with strong focus on process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to agile practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester.
• 5+ years in software development or testing.
• Experience with manual testing in SaaS environments for web and mobile.
• Experience using automation testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress and Appium.
• Knowledge of SQA methodology and tools.
• Ability to collaborate with product owners, tech leads and engineers.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes (Jira, Azure DevOps, DataDog, SQL Database, Postman, LambdaTest, Jira Zephyr).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and maintain test cases in assigned functional areas.
• Identify and report bugs with accurate and detailed descriptions.
• Communicate test results and status to stakeholders.
• Perform end-to-end solution & quarterly regression testing within technical capabilities.
• Work with the development team to ensure quick resolution and meet project timelines.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional QA team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Adhere to quality standards and best practices.
• Participate in agile practices: stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives.
