Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Software Tester to strengthen software quality in a complex enterprise environment in India. You will validate new digital solutions, existing applications and operational systems before release.

You'll work across the full testing lifecycle, plan tests, create and execute test cases, perform regression and integration testing, manage defects, and collaborate with engineering, business and QA teams in Agile/DevOps settings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in software testing or QA.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and V&V principles.
• Experience in Agile and/or DevOps environments.
• Experience testing applications in complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience creating, executing and documenting test cases.
• Proven experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects.

Responsibilities

• Support verification and validation across new digital solutions and existing applications.
• Participate in the complete software testing lifecycle including planning and execution.
• Create, maintain and update detailed test cases based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration and release testing to find issues.
• Identify, document, prioritize and track defects with clear details for resolution.
• Retest resolved defects and verify fixes before closure.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers and business stakeholders to ensure quality.
• Work within Agile and DevOps processes to improve testing and releases.
• Use enterprise QA tools to manage testing and support automation where applicable.
• Communicate testing progress, risks and quality concerns to stakeholders.
