Job summary

Huzzle is recruiting a QA Engineer to ensure quality, stability, and performance of software across the development lifecycle. You will partner with developers, product managers, and designers to catch defects early, validate features, and drive testing excellence.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in both manual testing and test automation within Agile environments, with strong knowledge of QA methodologies and a passion for quality assurance in SaaS/cloud settings.

Qualifications

3–4 years of professional experience as a QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, or Quality Assurance Engineer.
Strong experience with manual software testing across web applications.
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman or equivalent tools.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
Experience using bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation and testing.
Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a remote team environment.
Experience testing SaaS platforms or cloud-based applications.
Knowledge of performance or load testing tools.
Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments.
ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA certification.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
Design and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation frameworks.
Identify, document, prioritize, and verify software defects using bug-tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar API testing platforms.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness activities.
Ensure product quality before production deployments.
Continuously improve QA processes, documentation, and testing standards.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
