Job summary

Terakeet is seeking a Director of Information Technology to oversee enterprise IT operations and infrastructure, aligning with strategic goals while championing AI governance and security. The role balances hands-on delivery with strategic leadership in a remote/hybrid environment, protecting confidential client data and enabling AI-powered efficiency.

Responsibilities include architecture, policy implementation, vendor management, and developing secure AI workflows.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably cloud-first in professional services.
Ability to define and execute a high-level technology vision and lead cross-functional projects.
Hands-on leadership of enterprise AI initiatives from vendor selection to deployment.
Experience deploying AI platforms and secure data-access protocols.
Strong communication with senior leaders and stakeholders; budget management experience.
Advanced knowledge of macOS, Google Workspace, Microsoft OS/Office, and Adobe CC; IAM tools certs a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic IT direction and policy across enterprise systems and security.
Partner with directors to evaluate technology investments and modernization projects.
Own architecture, administration, and continuous improvement of the technology stack.
Govern AI initiatives and develop internal automations using platforms like Replit.
Establish data security frameworks and disaster recovery programs.
Monitor systems to mitigate shadow IT and ensure security standards.
