Job summary

Terakeet is seeking a Director of Information Technology to oversee all technology operations and infrastructure, aligning with strategic goals while championing AI adoption. The role balances strategic leadership with hands-on responsibility for enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and automation initiatives.

Led by a senior IT leader, you will guide data security, AI governance, and vendor relationships, ensuring confidentiality of client data and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT leadership in cloud-first environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional, multi-project programs.
• Hands-on enterprise AI initiative leadership and data security expertise.
• Experience with AI platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Google Gemini.
• Strong communication and change management skills.
• Budgeting and financial governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct strategic direction of IT policies and systems.
• Partner with directors to evaluate technology investments and modernization.
• Own architecture and administration of the technology stack.
• Lead AI governance and internal automations.
• Establish data security and disaster recovery programs.
• Monitor software and tooling to meet security standards.
• Oversee onboarding and training for new direct reports.
• Manage quarterly IT budget and present business cases.
• Hire and mentor IT staff.
• Communicate security policies to stakeholders.
