Job summary

RemoteLeads is seeking a field installation technician to travel across regions, installing indoor and outdoor beacons, gateways, and mounting hardware. You will use iPads to plan layouts, register equipment, and complete digital documentation while working safely at various sites.

The role involves troubleshooting hardware, communicating progress to customers and teams, and updating project plans on non-travel days. A customer-centric mindset and hands-on IT/hardware experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Travel 100% across assigned regions.
• Comfort using iPads, mobile apps, and digital documentation tools.
• 1+ years of software, hardware, and networking troubleshooting experience.
• 1+ years in a customer-centric role.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations across regions to install beacons, gateways, and mounting hardware.
• Plan layouts and register equipment using mobile devices; complete digital documentation.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware issues and verify beacon/gateway functionality.
• Communicate project progress and issues to customers, onsite contacts, and internal teams.
• Complete remote beacon mapping, labeling, placement planning, and project updates on non-travel days.
