You will ship production frontend code, define reusable patterns, and collaborate with product and platform teams to deliver durable, scalable features. This role emphasizes architecture, quality, and impact on readers and publishers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional frontend software engineering experience.
• Deep experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js or similar modern web frameworks.
• Familiarity with Microfrontend architectures, monorepos, or shared frontend platforms.
• Strong understanding of web performance, bundling, and optimization techniques.
• Experience collaborating with backend and platform teams to define clean integration patterns.
• Comfortable operating in high-traffic, high-visibility environments with real user impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; thrives in a remote, documentation-driven culture.
• Highly collaborative: partners with product, design, and backend to deliver end-to-end features.

Responsibilities

• Ship production frontend code and define patterns that other teams can reuse.
• Lead modernization workstreams, migrating legacy apps to a microfrontend ecosystem.
• Work cross-functionally with product and platform teams to implement durable architectural changes.
