Job summary

gobravvo seeks a Fire Protection Engineer (PE) to advance fire safety consulting in the Eastern US with remote-first flexibility. You will lead business development and manage client relationships while designing sprinkler, alarm, smoke control, and special hazard systems across diverse buildings.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of experience, PE preferred, NFPA knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience; 10+ years preferred.
• PE licensure strongly preferred; NFPA knowledge essential.
• Bend to travel to client sites as required and work remotely.
• Proven ability to develop and sustain client relationships and generate regional business.
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional business development and market expansion initiatives.
• Design and oversee fire protection systems across varied industries.
• Perform advanced analyses (3D hydraulic modeling, fire modeling, evacuation).
• Provide NFPA/ICC code consulting and on-site project support.
• Support construction administration and mentor junior engineers.
• Develop regional business plans and travel to client sites as needed.
