Job summary

Conti LLC is expanding its Controls Automation Division and seeks a Sales Estimator to grow the Detroit and Maumee markets. You will split time between building client relationships and leading estimating from takeoffs to final proposals.

You’ll work with the Controls Sales team, report to the Division Director, and leverage Bluebeam and Excel templates for accurate quotations. A self-starter, you will manage a remote schedule with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in controls automation or related field; estimating experience preferred.
• Background in controls, automation, or manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in Bluebeam and Excel; able to use estimating templates.
• Ability to read blueprints, construction documents, and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication; professional client-facing interaction.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and develop new customer relationships in Detroit and Maumee.
• Meet with clients, attend site visits, and represent Conti LLC at events.
• Lead the full sales cycle from initial outreach to project award.
• Prepare quotes and proposals for controls automation projects up to $20M+.
• Perform material takeoffs and scope reviews using Bluebeam and Excel templates.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
