Job summary

SchoolAI is seeking a senior finance leader to own forecasting, accounting, budgeting, and board reporting. You will partner with the CEO and leadership to steer capital allocation and runway decisions, building scalable processes as the company grows.

This hands-on role requires closing the books, modeling, and presenting board decks while shaping the finance function for a fast‑growing SaaS company in the education tech space.

Qualifications

• Strong finance leadership experience with ownership of finance functions.
• Experience building or scaling finance teams in SaaS at multiple growth stages.
• Proven experience in board and investor reporting.
• Ability to design scalable financial systems and processes.
• Hands-on: modeling, monthly close, analysis, and board materials.

Responsibilities

• Own FP&A: forecasting, budgeting, scenarios, and unit economics.
• Lead board reporting and investor updates with timely data.
• Own the finance stack and month-end close with integration across systems.
• Manage runway, cash, collections, and revenue mechanics.
• Oversee accounting close in coordination with external firm.
