Job summary

Fello, a profitable, hyper-growth B2B SaaS company, seeks a hands-on finance leader to own the entire finance function, including monthly close, GAAP compliance, revenue recognition, tax, reporting, and audit readiness. You will work with a fractional CFO and AI leverage to accelerate execution.

Expect 50% controller duties and 50% strategic finance, with opportunities to broaden scope as the company scales.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent with GAAP expertise.
• Experience owning monthly close in a SaaS/tech company.
• Proven revenue recognition experience under ASC 606.
• Strong internal controls and audit readiness.
• Experience with SaaS metrics and board reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the close and accounting operations across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
• Maintain GAAP compliance and drive audit readiness with external auditors.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting: AP/AR, payroll, expenses, banking.
• Design automated workflows between billing and accounting platforms.
• Develop accounting policies and process docs for external diligence.
