Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity pre-sales professional to serve enterprise customers in Japan, bridging technical capabilities with business needs in OT/ICS environments. You will design tailored solutions, run product demonstrations, and guide complex decisions across regional accounts.

Travel to Japan will be regular, and you will collaborate with sales teams, partners, and lab engineers to stand up Proofs of Concept, support RFPs, and deliver information requests.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in cybersecurity with a security-focused specialization.
• At least 3 years in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, or similar customer-facing role.
• Familiarity with ICS/OT concepts such as industrial protocols, DCS, and SCADA.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, the OSI model, the Purdue model, and traffic-capture techniques such as SPAN, port mirroring, and TAPs.
• Comfort with Linux command line, Docker, Wireshark/Tshark, TCPdump, NiFi, the ELK stack, and Jupyter notebooks.
• Fluency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English, with willingness to travel regularly across Japan.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in pre- and post-sales processes to capture requirements, technical goals, and operating context
• Deliver consultative recommendations, tailored product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept deployments
• Stand up and troubleshoot lab and customer POC environments, partnering with sales counterparts to position solutions
• Respond to inbound requests for information, proposals, and statements of work
• Support field-marketing activity at trade shows, conferences, and customer events
• Track emerging needs and identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
