Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. seeks an Assistant Product Developer – Modular Design – Data Center to support Sr. Product Developer in translating customer requirements into concrete product features, geometry and functions.

This remote/hybrid role offers exposure to data center modular solutions, collaboration with suppliers, and participation in development schedules, BOM audits, and labeling strategies to drive efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Vocational/technical certificate in engineering drafting or design (2 years in product development).
• Electrical background experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. Product Developer by translating requirements into features, geometry and functions.
• Prepare sketches, drawings, and submittals under senior guidance.
• Review specs and design narratives with input from senior developers.
• Research materials and processes to inform design decisions.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain data and ensure timely exchange of information.
• Audit Revit BOMs and verify labeling spreadsheets.
• Develop feeder schedules and labeling strategies for project execution.
