Job summary

KNAPP North America is seeking a junior to mid-level attorney to support the Legal Team in drafting and reviewing a wide range of agreements and legal documents. The role includes immigration support, thorough document review, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• J.D. required from an accredited institution; bar admission preferred.
• 1–3 years of direct experience in construction and/or technology fields preferred.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, editing, and negotiating commercial, technical, licensing agreements.

Responsibilities

• Review and draft legal documents, including NDAs, contracts, articles of incorporation, briefs and memoranda.
• Occasionally provide support with immigration matters.
• Check and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy.
• Identify relevant statutes, legal articles, codes and other pertinent material.
• Perform legal and factual research of records.
• Organize, cross-check, validate and analyze information.
• Prepare written reports and correspondence.
• Build and maintain databases and files.
• Review employment agreements and severance agreements.
• Review and approve change orders, purchase orders and proposals.
• Draft and review LOIs.
• Assist and provide support to the Legal Team and cross-functional departments.
