Job summary

Cambium Learning is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager, Learning Intelligence to pioneer the platform and data foundations of our next-generation educational software ecosystem. You will lead the technical realization and execution of the roadmap transforming our supplemental content resources into an AI-powered, context-aware Tier 1 HQIM learning pathways ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical product management experience, with at least 3+ years leading data science initiatives using ML or deeply algorithmic data products.
• Ability to provide credible leadership translating technical schemas and system architecture into product specifications and roadmaps.
• Experience implementing AI systems for customer-facing product experiences.
• Experience integrating data between platforms and coordinating across governance structures to meet data quality standards.
• Strong written communication to distill complex technical decisions into actionable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business PMs to support the platform engineering roadmap and technical specifications for interoperability & identity workflows.
• Lead the Learning Intelligence Infrastructure initiative with cross-functional leads to translate architecture into executable roadmaps.
• Translate interoperability, report metrics, and data mappings into clear technical product backlogs.
• Align Learning Experience & Design, content SMEs, and technical teams to deliver explainable, privacy-aware systems.
• Define use cases, success criteria, guardrails, and phased AI capability implementations across metadata, analytics, reporting, and workflows.
• Analyze outcomes to inform improvements to learner profiles, recommendation systems, and growth models.
• Own technical product planning and execution, bridging business goals with technical solutions.
• Build roadmaps for platform capabilities and broker decisions with stakeholders.
• Clarify business use cases and translate needs into concrete requirements.
• Coordinate cross-department feedback and manage delivery risks.
• Incorporate customer questions and issues into backlogs and improvement plans.
