Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to evaluate and mitigate property damage risks at client facilities across the United States.

This role focuses on highly hazardous properties and helping clients reduce insurance costs through robust fire protection measures. You will conduct on-site inspections, identify hazards, and develop prioritized reports with concrete risk-reduction recommendations.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant experience in property insurance loss control and risk mitigation for highly hazardous facilities, with emphasis on fire-related risks.
• Experience with client-facing roles in a major industrial property insurance company or engineering firm is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection, hazard analysis, and risk assessments is essential.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and mitigate property damage risks at client facilities, especially highly protected risk (HPR).
• Conduct on-site inspections, identify hazards, and develop reports with prioritized recommendations for risk reduction.
• Review insurance recommendations and develop cost-effective alternatives while achieving risk mitigation goals.
• Travel 5–25% (approximately 2–3 business day trips, 1–2 times per month) and report to assigned department(s) and Project Manager.
