Job summary
DLB Associates is seeking a Fire Protection & Plumbing Engineer II to join our engineering team remotely from anywhere in the United States. You will collaborate with senior staff to advance plumbing and fire protection design skills for commercial buildings, producing construction documents and assisting in specification development under supervision.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, fire protection engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of mechanical or fire protection engineering experience.
- Proficient with engineering fundamentals and code analysis.
Responsibilities
- Assist in producing Fire Protection & Plumbing Engineering documents and drawings.
- Assist in pre-construction activities: site surveys, data collection, design documents.
- Assist in construction activities: coordinate with project team, review submittals and RFIs.
- Prepare project progress reports and maintain logs for shop drawings and RFIs.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and adopt new technologies.
