Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth through new business in construction and services sales of fire protection systems.

You will manage outside and inside sales, lead the process from bid to contract, build relationships with customers, and coordinate with project teams. Travel up to 40% is required; a valid driver's license and solid communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Business or related field preferred.
• 2 years relevant work experience in business development or Fire Life Safety sales preferred.
• 2 years operating a computer with Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Acquire sales leads for new work including installation and service of fire protection systems.
• Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract/Notice to Proceed.
• Generate new relationships and foster existing ones with customers.
• Communicate status of active proposals to Management.
