Job summary

Black Financial Consult is seeking an experienced Regulatory Advisor for a fully remote role focused on fintech, payments, and data-driven platforms. You will lead interpretation of regulations, shape compliance strategy, and advise across multiple jurisdictions to align products, platforms, and operations with laws and best practices.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in regulatory compliance, legal advisory, or risk management.
• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or regulated digital platforms.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks and apply them practically.
• Experience working across multiple regulatory environments or jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advisory on regulatory frameworks across fintech, banking, and digital products.
• Interpret and translate regulations into actionable business and product requirements.
• Advise on compliance strategy across multiple jurisdictions and markets.
• Support product and engineering teams in embedding regulatory requirements into system design.
• Conduct regulatory risk assessments and gap analyses.
• Monitor evolving regulations and assess business impact.
• Engage with internal stakeholders and external regulators as needed.
• Review policies, procedures, and controls for compliance alignment.
• Support audit readiness and regulatory reporting processes.
• Guide governance frameworks for data privacy, AML/KYC, and financial compliance.
