Job summary

Jobgether SRL partners to recruit a Fintech Financial Controls Reporting Analyst based in the United States. The role supports an ICFR program in a banking-as-a-service fintech environment, evaluating control gaps, testing procedures, and evidence to ensure financial reporting integrity.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Financial Controls, Risk, Internal Audit, and external fintech partners, translating control gaps into practical testing steps and supporting conclusions.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of internal controls over financial reporting and testing principles.
• Working knowledge of SOX, ICFR, and COSO framework.
• Experience with SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports, CUECs, ITGCs, and business process controls.
• Ability to translate control gaps into practical, risk-based testing procedures.
• Experience in internal control testing including evidence evaluation and workpaper prep.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and map partner controls relevant to financial reporting within the Partner ICFR Framework.
• Maintain ICFR control inventories and testing documentation.
• Review control gaps and determine testing scope.
• Develop and execute risk-based alternative testing procedures.
• Test identified CUEC gaps and validate coverage where applicable.
• Conduct walkthroughs of controls and evaluate evidence.
• Prepare detailed testing workpapers with results and conclusions.
• Identify deficiencies and escalate to the Fintech Financial Controls Manager.
• Coordinate with Partner Risk and Internal Control testing teams on SOC, ITGC, CUEC matters.
• Communicate progress, exceptions, remediation status, and impacts to management.
