Job summary
Deckers Brands is seeking a Principal, Financial Operations & Software Asset Management to own FinOps and SAM governance across cloud, SaaS, licenses, and AI usage. You’ll transform cost data into actionable insights and partner with Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Security to optimize technology investments.
As a senior individual contributor, you’ll design dashboards and reporting, establish cost definitions, allocation, and governance rhythms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Finance, Business Admin or Accounting or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in FinOps, cloud financial management, or Software Asset Management.
- Experience establishing governance and reporting in complex organizations.
- Strong ability to turn data into actionable recommendations for cross‑functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own and mature FinOps processes, governance, and cost reporting.
- Design dashboards, scorecards, and allocation views for tech cost visibility.
- Analyze cloud and software consumption to identify optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Finance, Procurement, Security and Architecture.
