Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks a FinOps Public Cloud Team Lead for contract-to-hire opportunities. The role focuses on cloud cost governance, FinOps leadership, and senior technical authority across a network of client engagements.

The candidate will mentor engineers, guide architecture, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable FinOps solutions while driving automation and AI-enabled optimization. Remote work is supported across CST/EST time zones.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of information technology experience.
• 5+ years focused on FinOps, cloud financial management, or cloud platform engineering.
• Experience implementing and managing cloud cost management or FinOps platforms such as Harness CCM, CloudHealth, Cloudability, CloudZero, or comparable tools.
• Certifications in FinOps or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP) are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver FinOps engagements with high-quality services and on-time project delivery.
• Architect and implement advanced FinOps capabilities for large-scale enterprise environments, including AI-enabled cost management approaches.
• Guide client stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and ROI.
• Lead solution architectures, technical approaches, and innovation strategies for FinOps services.
• Prepare executive briefings and documentation for engineering, finance, and leadership teams.
