Job summary

Cisco is seeking a FinOps Practitioner (Remote) to lead analysis and execution of cloud savings strategies, primarily AWS Savings Plans, to improve commitment coverage and cost efficiency. You will translate cloud spend into financial insights that drive Azure/GCP costs awareness and contribute to gross margin.

Qualifications

• Bachelors + 5 years of related experience or Masters + 3 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, CS, engineering, info systems, or related.
• Minimum 3 years in FinOps/cloud cost management with hands-on AWS cost management.
• Hands-on experience analyzing AWS Reservations and Savings Plans, including sizing, coverage, utilization, and risk.
• Experience building cloud forecasts, budgets, cost models, dashboards, and analyses using advanced Excel/Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and execution of AWS Savings Plan purchases to improve commitment coverage.
• Translate cloud and AI token-based spend into financial insights for gross margin.
• Drive cost optimization across AWS, Azure, and GCP with cross-functional partners.
• Build forecasts, dashboards, and executive-ready reporting on spending trends, savings, and risks.
