Job summary

Shaper Capital is seeking a Financial Operations Associate to own core financial workflows across Shaper and its portfolio companies. This remote role involves fast-paced execution, close collaboration with leadership, and exposure to multiple early-stage businesses.

You will manage AP/AR processes, invoicing, wire transfers, vendor inquiries, and payroll cycles, while helping improve financial systems and processes. Previous startup or HR/payroll experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Excel and Google Sheets for financial workflows.
• Experience with accounting systems or ERPs is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, and able to move fast in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Own accounts payable end-to-end across Shaper and portfolio companies.
• Handle customer invoicing and collections; ensure timely follow-up.
