The Richards Group, an IMA Company, seeks a Financial Strategist to translate complex financial data into clear client insights and support decisions for benefits strategy. You will model core financials, review stop-loss and funding options, and contribute to renewal analyses for self-funded and level-funded plans, collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Candidates should have 4+ years of relevant experience, a 4-year degree, and a Life and Health license; remote work is possible with

Qualifications

• 4+ years of similar or related experience.
• Prefer college graduate, 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suites.
• Attain Life and Health license & maintain through continuing education requirements.
• Limited travel required (less than 25%).
• Understands concepts of underwriting and actuarial computations.
• Analyze and interpret data.
• Effective multitasking and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to be firm and persuasive while maintaining relationships.
• Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Supports core financial modeling, claims projections, IBNR analysis, and renewal analysis for self-funded and level-funded clients.
• Consult on stop-loss programs and funding strategies; support financial negotiations with carriers and vendors.
• Represent the Financial Strategy function in client discussions.
• Prepare client presentations and present in front of clients with direction from Client Executive.
• Provide mentorship and perform technical review of work.
