Job summary

SS&C Technologies is seeking a Financial Services Operations Representative I-III to join our remote team supporting Mutual Fund clients. You will perform daily account activities and process service requests with accuracy, working within a collaborative virtual environment to deliver exceptional service.

During training you will learn our processes and systems, then execute purchases, redemptions, transfers and account maintenance while meeting quality and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-year work-related experience. Preference given to candidates with prior financial services experience; specifically with operations transaction processing and/or phone related experience.
• 1-2 years business experience in customer support, customer service, or transfer agency roles required for Rep. II and III.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily account activities to provide excellent service to our customers by processing financial service requests with efficiency and accuracy.
• After attending formal training, execute service requests, which include purchases, redemptions, transfers, exchanges, account maintenance and new account set-up.
• Meet and surpass quality and productivity objectives within current role; bring a quality mindset to all aspects of the work.
• Review transactions for quality, ensuring the accuracy of the work entered; escalating areas of concern as needed for quality improvement purposes.
• Work collaboratively within a virtual environment to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.
• On a daily basis, effectively communicate with advisors, shareholders, and the client over the phone to resolve complex issues or clarify incoming requests.
• Utilize internal and external resources to maintain a working knowledge of relevant account and industry trends.
• Coordinate and participate in special projects as assigned.
• Reps II and III will review and ensure accuracy of work entered, provide coaching when needed, and make recommendations for procedural changes.
