Job summary

Solomon Page is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst for a fully remote role in the Eastern Time zone. This contract position requires strong analytical skills, independence, and meticulous attention to detail in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities include reconciling vendor statements, analyzing rebate criteria, and resolving variances with suppliers and internal teams; Oracle experience and advanced Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business concentration.
• 2-3 years of related finance or accounting experience.
• Knowledge of rebate accounting or related practices is preferred.
• Experience with big-box retailers (Walmart, Home Depot, etc.) is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills are required.
• Experience utilizing Oracle is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile, research, and resolve open items on vendor statements.
• Analyze vendor sales-based incentive program agreements.
• Analyze rebate criteria using vendor agreements.
• Investigate variances and resolve account discrepancies with suppliers or internal customers.
• Request and follow up on additional documentation from sales teams or suppliers.
