Job summary

Referment is building its US credit data set and seeks an experienced financial credit analyst to join the US data team, reporting to the Head of US Data in New York. The role is remote and US-based, using our proprietary machine-learning extraction system to build and maintain US credit market data for institutional investors.

You will process financial reports, verify outputs, own your coverage universe through earnings season, and interact with leading investment firms.

Qualifications

• Accounting/finance background required, US GAAP expertise essential.
• Strong Excel and data-management skills.
• Experience at a Big 4 firm or as a financial data analyst is a plus.
• CPA or CFA preferred.
• Fluency in English and US work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Process financial reports through the proprietary data extraction system to grow the US data set.
• Analyze outputs for accuracy and completeness using internal audit tools.
• Own your coverage universe, keeping data live through earnings season.
• Interact with clients, including leading investment firms, about data and product functionality.
• Collaborate with engineering on system performance and product improvements.
