Job summary

AtomicVest Inc. is seeking an experienced Financial Controller / Finance Partner / Project Manager to lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives, starting with Europe expansion. You will own accounting books, consolidate month-end close, and support tax compliance with FinOp and external advisors.

Remote-first role, based in the US or LATAM, reporting to CFO and FinOp, with treasury backing and a focus on building finance project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience leading cross-functional projects.
• Experience managing regulatory, licensing, or market expansion projects in financial services
• Proficiency with PM tools (Jira/Asana/monday.com).
• Meaningful finance and accounting experience in fintech, banking, brokerage, or RIA
• Comfort navigating regulated multi-entity structures with international subsidiaries
• Working knowledge of US corporate tax compliance and external tax advisors
• Hands-on treasury and cash management experience; internal controls
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and supervision of EU-based accountants
• Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP
• Advanced-level English for cross-team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Propose and implement projects to shorten the month-end close using NetSuite and related systems.
• Oversee books for tech and RIA entities; run consolidated month-end close; support tax compliance with FinOp/external advisers.
• Develop consolidated accounting policies and controls for fintech across products and entities.
• Prepare the company for a consolidated audit in 12–24 months.
• Back up CFO on treasury: cash position, approvals, bank relations, cash runway.
• Build finance project management function with intake, templates, reporting standards.
• Lead cross-functional projects such as Europe expansion, coordinating workstreams and regulators.
• Plan and run additional finance, compliance, legal, and operations projects from scoping to delivery.
• Prepare status updates for leadership and run effective project meetings.
• Partner with finance, compliance, legal, operations, and engineering leadership.
