Job summary

FalconX is seeking a strategic Head of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting to ensure US GAAP compliance and SEC readiness in a fast-paced crypto trading environment. The role blends high‑level technical accounting with hands‑on system work, bridging trading desks and public‑ready financial statements.

You will lead complex disclosures, manage ASC 606/805, and drive improvements across on‑chain data, reconciliations, and offshore teams while collaborating with Finance, Legal, and BizDev.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred; U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting required.
• Experience with ASC 606/805 and complex reconciliations.
• Background in digital assets/crypto accounting is advantageous.
• Experience with external filings and MD&A is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct the technical accounting & financial reporting function.
• Oversee GAAP analyses for on-chain data and reconciliations.
• Lead ASC 606/805 and M&A accounting considerations.
• Draft MD&A and disclosures for SEC engagements.
• Coordinate offshore teams and NetSuite integration.
