Job summary

FalconX in New York is seeking a Heads of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting to steer our GAAP and SEC reporting framework as the business scales. You’ll blend high‑level technical accounting expertise with hands‑on system work, bridging trading desks and public‑ready financial statements.

Responsibilities span audit‑readiness, on‑chain data lineage, ASC 606/805 guidance, and disclosure drafting, while building SOPs for offshore teams and aligning crypto sub‑ledgers with NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Experience transitioning from Big 4 Audit or technical desks into accounting advisory or high-growth digital assets firm.
• Proficiency with Workiva, NetSuite and crypto sub-ledgers (Luca, TaxBit, BitWave).

Responsibilities

• Direct forensic review and reconciliation of historical data for audit-ready foundation.
• Bridge custodial data to GAAP reporting with traceability to original source.
• Serve as internal authority on ASC 606 and ASC 805, including DeFi yields and embedded assets.
• Draft MD&A and disclosures for potential SEC registrations and S-1/F-1 filings.
• Design SOPs for offshore teams to tighten crypto sub-ledgers integration with NetSuite.
