Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst for a 100% remote role. The position supports DOAR BU Program Finance with full life-cycle program finances and requires strong Excel skills and government contracting knowledge.

Responsibilities include cost, schedule and funding planning, billing support, accruals, and GAAP/IFRS compliance. U.S. citizenship and a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of government contracting regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting and finance principles.
• Understanding of CPFF/T&M/FFP contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting and analysis for programs.
• Assist accounts receivable during billing processing as needed.
• Monitor billing status and resolve unbilled issues with multiple teams.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor accruals per GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
• Support monthly program and finance rhythms and reviews.
• Administer program control per accounting principles and policies.
• Prepare finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition.
• Interface with subcontractors, vendors, and customers on financial issues.
